At Crosteria you can taste products as authentic as they come. We do our best daily to guarantee a true at-home Italian experience by reviving our grandparents' recipes and bringing to the table products which are at the verge of extinction also in Italy due to high cost of ingredients and workmanship. We work all our products by hand.
New Shop, Old Roots.
Our origins lay in the sunny south of Italy in a small town called Itri, where our sourdough has been fed daily to be kept alive since 1923. Our Hajós Street store is the result of collaboration born from a passion for bringing true southern Italian food to everyday Budapest.

We pay special attention in selecting quality ingredients and authentic products as hallmarks for our production and our shop variety. We work both with renown brands and small artisan manufacturers.

100% Hand Made Pastas
Every Friday and Saturday our kitchen makes our very own hand made pasta. Variety changes weekly and production capacity is limited. Inquire and sign-up early if you are looking for a real home made weekend Italian style meal.
